What is Celebrex?

Celebrex contains the medication celecoxib and is used to treat pain and inflammation caused by arthritis, menstrual pain and other causes. Celecoxib is a nonsteriodal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the enzyme prostaglandin in your body which causes pain and inflammation in the body.

• Signs of kidney problems such as tiredness, shortness of breath, little or no urination or a swelling in your feet or ankles.
• Signs of an allergic reaction such as hives, difficulty breathing or a swelling of your face, lips or throat.

What should I do if I miss a dose of Celebrex?

If you miss a dose of this medication, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose. Do not take two doses of this medication at once.
