What is Travatan Z?

Travatan Z Eye Drops contain travoprost and are used to lower high pressure inside the eye as a result of glaucoma, ocular hypertension or other eye diseases. Travoprost is in a class of medications known as prostaglandin analogs and regulates the flow of fluid within the eye helping to maintain a normal pressure.

• Wash your hands before and after using this medication. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using Travatan Z and leave them out for fifteen minutes after using the medication.
• Slightly tip your head backwards. Use your finger to pull down your lower eyelid creating a pocket. Hold your dropper directly above your eye and squeeze out a drop into the pocket.
• Keep your eyes closed for between one and two minutes. Gently place your finger in the corner of your eye near your nose to stop any liquid from draining out.
• Do not touch the dropper tip or rinse the dropper to avoid contamination.
• If you use any other eye medications, wait at least five minutes before applying any other medications. Use eye drops before any eye ointments.
• Continue to use travoprost even when you feel well. Try to use these eye drops at the same time each day.

• Your medical history especially of eye problems.
