Muro 128 Eye Ointment draws water out of a swollen cornea. The extra water in the cornea can cause your vision to be poor. You may also see halos or rings around point light sources. The cornea is the clear cover over the colored part of your eye.

Apply Muro 128 Eye Ointment to the eye as directed. Read all directions on the product package before using this medication. To apply Muro 128 eye ointment, 

• Wash your hands first.
• Please do not touch the tube tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface to avoid contamination. 
• Rolling the ointment tube in your hands for a minute will make the ointment flow easier. 
• Tilt your head back, look upward, and gently pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. 
• Place a 1/4-inch strip of ointment into the pouch. 
• Close the eye and roll the eyeball in all directions to spread the medication. Try not to blink, and do not rub the eye.
• Repeat these steps for your other eye if so directed. Wipe the tip of the ointment tube with a clean tissue to remove extra medication before recapping it.
• This product is recommended for use under a doctor's direction. If your condition worsens, lasts for more than three days, or you think you may have a serious medical problem, get medical help immediately.

• Allergies
  Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to this medicine or other medicines. Also, tell your healthcare professional if you have allergies to foods, dyes, preservatives, or animals.
• Interactions with medicines
  Although certain medicines should not be used together, in other cases, two different medicines may be used together even if an interaction occurs. In these cases, your doctor may want to change the dose, or other precautions may be necessary. 
• Interactions with food/tobacco/alcohol
  Using alcohol or tobacco with certain medicines may also cause interactions to occur.
• Breastfeeding and Pregnant
  Consult your doctor.

More common side effects of Muro 128 eye ointment include:

• Changes in vision
• Red eyes
• Temporary burning sensation in the eye
• Temporary eye irritation

Some side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may disappear during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. 

What happens if you miss a dose of Muro 128 Eye Ointment?

Use the Muro 128 eye ointment as soon as possible, but skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next dose. Do not use two doses at one time.

What happens if you overdose on Muro 128 Eye Ointment?

An overdose of Muro 128 eye ointment is not expected to be dangerous. Seek emergency medical attention.

Is it safe to drive while on Muro 128 Eye Ointment?

After you apply Muro 128 Eye Ointment, your vision may become temporarily blurred. Only drive, use machinery or do any activity requiring clear vision once you can safely perform such activities.
