What is Janumet?

Janumet (sitagliptin/metformin) is a diabetes medication which helps to control blood sugar levels. • Joint pain.
• Signs of kidney problems such as a change in your amount of urine.
• Signs of heart failure such as unusual or sudden weight gain, unusual tiredness, shortness of breath or swelling in your ankles or feet.
• Unusual skin blisters.
• Signs of an allergic reaction such as hives, difficulty breathing or a swelling of your face, lips or throat.

What should I do if I miss a dose of Janumet?

If you miss a dose of this medication, take it with food as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose.
