What is Finacea Gel?

Finacea Gel (Azelaic Acid) is medication used to treat bumps, lesions and swelling which are caused by the skin condition rosacea by reducing the number of inflamed skin lesions and decreasing swelling and redness of the skin.

  • Makeup may be used after the skin has dried.
  • Do not use more of this medication or more frequently than directed. Your condition will not clear faster but the chance of side effects will be increased.
  • It may take up to four weeks to notice improvement. Continue to use this medication regularly and contact your doctor if your symptoms do not improve.
