What is Diovan HCT?

Diovan HCT is a high blood pressure medication containing valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide. Valsartan allows blood to flow more easily by relaxing blood vessels while hydrochlorothiazide causes you to urinate more helping to remove excess salt and water from your body. Diovan HCT is typically prescribed after other blood pressure medications have been tried.

Contact your doctor if you experience any of the following side effects of Diovan HCT:

What should I do if I miss a dose of Diovan HCT?

If you miss a dose of this medication, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose.
