Condylox solution (antimitotics) treats warts on the outside of the genitals. It stops the growth of the wart, and the wart eventually falls off.

Use Condylox Solution exactly as prescribed. When you start using this medication, your prescriber may show you how to apply it correctly to get the best effect.

To apply Condylox Solution:

• Wash the affected area with soap and water, then let it dry completely.
• Remember to wash your hands thoroughly before and after using this medication.
• Apply Condylox Solution using the provided applicator tip. Try to put the medication only on the wart; it may help to use a small mirror to get it in the right place.
• Let the medication dry fully to prevent it from contacting normal skin areas nearby.

Before using Condylox Solution, tell your doctor or pharmacist:

Your medical history, especially of injured/irritated/inflamed skin around the treated area; recent surgery on the treated area; if you are allergic to it; or have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. 

This medication is not a cure for genital warts. These warts are caused by a virus called human papillomavirus (HPV). Condylox does not destroy the virus. It only helps to remove warts, but new ones may form, or old ones may return during and after treatment.

Do not have sexual intercourse on the days you have applied this medication.

It is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

The more common side effects of Condylox Solution included:

• bad odor 
• bleeding of treated skin
• blistering, crusting, or scabbing of treated skin
• bloody urine
• burning feeling of treated skin
• dizziness
• itching of treated skin
• pain during sexual intercourse
• the pain of treated skin
• problems with the foreskin of the penis
• redness or swelling of treated skin
• scarring of treated skin 
• skin ulcers of treated skin
• vomiting

Is it safe to have sex while on Condylox Solution?

Genital warts are spread by sexual contact. Condoms may help prevent the spread of genital warts to your partner. Do not have sexual intercourse on the days you have applied Condylox Solution. 

Is using Condylox Solution while pregnant safe?

Condylox Solution should not be used when pregnancy is not advised since it could harm an unborn child.
