Buy Aggrenox (Dipyridamole + ASA) Online

It has never been easier to buy your prescription medications online from a Canadian pharmacy. Canada Pharmacy Depot lets you buy Aggrenox quickly and for a fraction of the cost you are used to paying in the US. Order online today or call us 7 days a week.

What is Aggrenox?

Aggrenox is a combination medication used to reduce the risk of stroke in people who have had blood clots or a “mini-stoke” (transient ischemic attack or TIA). Aggrenox contains dipyridamole and aspirin. Dipyridamole keeps platelets in your blood from sticking together to form clots while aspirin helps to reduce the substances which cause fever, pain and inflammation in the body.

Always read the patient information and instructions carefully before using this medication. Follow your doctor’s directions.

  • Aggrenox can be taken with or without food. Swallow the capsules whole with a full glass of water. Do not chew, open or break the capsules.
  • You should only take the medication prescribed for you. Taking aspirin and dipyridamole separately is not the equivalent to taking the combination medication.
  • Do not stop taking Aggrenox unless your doctor tells you to.

Cautions

Make sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist:

  • If you have any drug or other allergies.
  • Which other prescription and non-prescription medications you currently take.
  • Your medical history especially of stomach ulcers, stomach bleeding, heart problems, asthma, nasal polyps, low blood pressure or myasthenia gravis.
  • If you have ever had an asthma attack or a severe allergic reaction after taking aspirin or an NSAID.
  • If you are pregnant or planning pregnancy. Apririn taken during late pregnancy may cause bleeding in the mother or baby during delivery.
  • If you are breast feeding.
  • If you drink more than three alcoholic beverages per day.

Also be aware that:

  • Aggrenox may increase your risk of bleeding. Seek emergency medical attention if you have bleeding that will not stop, bloody or black stools, vomit which looks like coffee grounds or if you cough up blood.
  • You should avoid drinking alcohol while taking Aggrenox as it can increase your risk of stomach bleeding.
  • You should tell all doctors and dentists that you take Aggrenox. You may need to temporarily stop taking it before any surgery, dental work or heart stress tests.
  • You should not give this medication to a child or teenager with fever, flu symptoms or chicken pox.

Aggrenox Side Effects

Common Aggrenox side effects may include but are not limited to:

  • Headaches.
  • Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.

Contact your doctor if you experience any of the following side effects of Aggrenox:

  • Severe headaches when you first start taking this medication. Your doctor may need to change your dose.
  • Signs of stomach bleeding such as stomach pain, severe heartburn, bloody or tarry stools, coughing up blood or vomit which looks like coffee grounds.
  • Signs of bleeding in the brain such as fainting, severe headaches, confusion or memory problems.
  • Lightheadedness or the feeling that you might pass out.
  • Ringing in your ears or other hearing problems.
  • New or worsening chest pain.
